Why does Sage & Grace use organic hair color and beauty products?
What sits on your skin is proven to be absorbed into your bloodstream. Have you ever thought about a Nicotine patch? (Gross!) Now think about a lotion, and how that sits on your skin until its absorbed…same idea! In traditional makeup, hair products, and hair color you can find hundreds of toxic chemicals. These chemicals are absorbed into the body. If you won’t eat them, why wear them? We strive to carry the healthiest products available, so the products we use are both kind to the hair and kind to our environment.

A self-identified hair nerd, Matt started doing hair here in central Mass in 2016. His work has brought him as far east as Newton and Wellesley and up to Waltham before he settled full-circle in Worcester in 2021. The journey has allowed him to cultivate and grow many industry skills, and has led him to the belief that hair cutting isn't a service but an experience. He loves to give the gift of confidence and watch clients fall in love with their hair, and especially loves crafting low maintenance and easy-to-style looks that they may replicate in their day-to-day lives. Pro tip from Matt: come to your service equipped with all your hair questions and concerns!
